COOKIE STATEMENT

The internet pages of [iReto bv] use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in a computer system via an internet browser.
Many internet sites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a character string with which internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific internet browser in which the cookie is stored. This allows visited Internet sites and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognized and identified using the unique cookie ID.

By using cookies, [iReto bv] can provide the users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting.

  • Both technical and session cookies are used to simplify your use of our website. These cookies are therefore strictly necessary for the functioning of the website.

By means of a cookie, the information and offers on our website can be optimized with the user in mind. Cookies enable us, as previously mentioned, to recognize our website users. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. For example, the website user who uses cookies does not have to enter access data each time the website is visited, because it is taken over by the website and the cookie is thus stored on the user’s computer system.

All other cookies are only installed / activated after your explicit and prior consent during your first visit to the website. This consent can be expressed in general terms, for example in response to the cookie banner. Your consent will be tracked for other and future visits to the website. As a user, you always have the right to withdraw your explicit consent in whole or in part.
Since cookies are personal data, their processing is governed by our Privacy Statement. By agreeing to our cookie policy, you give us permission to process your personal data (especially cookies) in accordance with our privacy statement.

For more information about cookies, see www.allaboutcookies.org or www.youronlinechoices.eu.

The use of “cookies”.

During a visit to the site, ‘cookies’ can be placed on the hard drive of your computer. A cookie is a text file that is placed by the server of a website in the browser of your computer or on your mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies cannot be used to identify persons, a cookie can only identify a machine.

‘First party cookies’ are technical cookies that are used by the visited site itself and that aim to make the site function optimally. Example: settings that the user has made during previous visits to the site, or even: a pre-filled form with data that the user has done during previous visits.
‘Third Party cookies’ are cookies that do not come from the website itself, but from third parties, for example an existing marketing or advertising plug-in. For example cookies from Facebook or Google Analytics. For such cookies, the visitor to the site must first give permission – this can be done via a bar at the bottom or top of the website, with reference to this policy, which does not prevent further surfing on the website.)

You can set your internet browser in such a way that cookies are not accepted, that you receive a warning when a cookie is installed or that the cookies are subsequently removed from your hard drive. You can do this via the settings of your browser (via the help function). Keep in mind that certain graphic elements may not appear correctly, or that you will not be able to use certain applications.
By using our website, you agree to our use of cookies.

Google analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” (text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transferred to and stored by Google on servers in Ireland. Google uses this information to keep track of how you use the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to offer other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Google will not combine your IP address with other data that Google has. You can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, we point out that in that case you may not be able to use all the features of this website. By using this website you consent to the processing of the information by Google in the manner and for the purposes described above.

Google Adwords – if used by you.

[iReto bv] has integrated Google AdWords on the website. Google AdWords is a service for internet advertisements with which [iReto bv] can place advertisements in the search results of the Google search engine and in the Google advertising network. Google AdWords allows us to predefine predefined keywords with the help of which an ad will only be displayed in Google search results when the user uses the search engine to retrieve a keyword-relevant search result. In the Google Advertising Network, the ads are distributed on relevant web pages using an automatic algorithm, taking into account the previously defined keywords.
The purpose of Google AdWords is the promotion of our website by including relevant advertisements on the websites of third parties and in the search results of the Google search engine and an insertion of third-party advertisements on our website.
If a data subject reaches our website via a Google ad, a conversion cookie is stored on the information technology system of the data subject via Google. The definition of cookies is explained above. A conversion cookie loses its validity after 30 days and is not used to identify the data subject. If the cookie has not expired, the conversion cookie is used to check whether certain subpages, for example the shopping cart of an online shopping system, have been accessed on our website.
The data and information collected through the use of the conversion cookie is used by Google to create visit statistics for our website. These visit statistics are used to determine the total number of users served through AdWords ads to determine the success or failure of each AdWords ad and to optimize our AdWords ads in the future. Neither our company nor other Google AdWords advertisers receive information from Google that could identify the data subject.
The conversion cookie stores personal information, for example the internet pages visited by the data subject. Whenever we visit our internet pages, personal data, including the IP address of the internet access used by the data subject, is transmitted to Google in Dublin (Ireland). This personal data is stored by Google in Ireland. Google may transfer this personal data collected through the technical procedure to third parties.
